AIB Consumer Lending Diploma

The AIB Consumer Lending Diploma reflects a balanced treatment of the knowledge and skill requirements of a typical consumer lender. Complementing consumer-lending specific coursework are topics in general banking, accounting and credit analysis, and legal and regulatory compliance. Approaches to relationship management and relationship selling and cross-selling are also addressed. In addition, emphasis is placed on practical business skills, such as time management, effective presentations and writing bank correspondence.

REQUIRED

  • AIB Consumer Lending
  • Effective Referrals
  • AIB Ethical Issues for Bankers
  • AIB General Accounting
  • Introduction to Relationship Selling
  • AIB Law and Banking: Applications or AIB Law and Banking: Principles
  • Managing Time at Work
  • Presentation Skills
  • Writing Bank Correspondence

All required and elective courses must be completed with a passing grade (D or better) and the student’s overall grade point average (GPA) must be 2.00 or higher.

All courses must carry a minimum of 2.00 credits unless otherwise noted in the specific diploma and certificate requirements.

You can complete the requirements of your diploma and certificate at a pace that suits your schedule and the courses can be completed in any order you choose.

You can earn the necessary credits to achieve these diplomas and certificates through a variety of options: In-Person, Online Instructor-Led, Online Self-Paced, or Independent Study.
