Online Courses
How do online instructor-led courses work? Do I have to be online at a specific time?
Our online instructor-led courses are asynchronous, which means that they are not happening live. Although there is an official start and end date to the course, you can login anytime during the week to work our your assignments, chat, and study.
The online course I want to take has a 6-hour duration. Do I have to finish the course in one session? Do I only have access to the course for 6 hours?
The duration listed is an estimation of how long the average person will take to complete the course. You have a total of 6 months, or the expiration of your banks access agreement, from the date of enrollment to complete each course – and you have unlimited access to the course material for the entire six months. The system keeps track of where you are and where you’ve been in a course. So, you can work for an hour on a course from work, and log into your course later on from home, and the system will bring you back to exactly where you left off in the course.
